Why is there gel on my teeth after using the strips?

Why do I have white spots on my teeth after using the strips?

While this may not happen to you, there is a risk of temporary white spots with any whitening strip on the market. The reason is because your teeth are being shielded from saliva, which is not normal for them. So, for the time period you have the strips on, your teeth can become temporarily dehydrated. If you don’t, you may only need it once a day or a few times a week.
